Soap making has come a long way since settlers used ashes from the fireplace and collected rainwater to make lye. It used to be a chore to make soap. This is no longer the case. In fact, it's a lot of fun.

In learning to make small batch handcrafted soap. we supply all the materials, to include a selection of MICA colors and fragrance oils to create your own unique handcrafted soap.

Each participant will leave with 7 to 8 bars of soap, depending on how you cut it. There's nothing more gratifying than using a product you made yourself.

Here at Old Rag Soap Company, we believe in keeping it clean and simple. We handcraft our soaps, in small batches, using the cold process method. All of our soaps are made from minimal ingredients using pure olive oil, shea butter, and coconut oil. Additionally, we use high quality fragrance oils and mica for color, with the exception of our Bare Naked Soap. Colors may vary slightly as our soaps are handmade in small batches.

You can find our full line of soaps at the Graves Mountain Gift Shop and the Market - Deli & Tackle.
