Horse Trail Riders' Community Get-together

October 31 to November 2, 2025
with horses, dogs, kids and
Halloween Events - 10 of them
while the leaves turn

The 100 plus miles of trails here on our 1800 acre farm
and Shenandoah National Park are the riding network
for exploring with other horse trail riders during a community weekend get-together at

Friday

Arrive and Unpack the Horses and Yourselves
Scavenger Hunt - 1:00 pm - Blue Trail
Then Ride out on Own
Main Lodge Farmhouse Restaurant Big Buffet - 5:30 - 8PM
Open Mike at the Main Lodge 7PM On with Front Porch Bar

6PM on Bluegrass jam picking going in the Jam Tent in the back camp field.

Saturday
Big Breakfast Buffet at the Main Lodge 8-10 AM
9:30am - Be ready to head out on a guided trail ride.
10:00 am- Chapman Mountain Guided Ride- (12 miles.)
Or ride with your own group.

4:00 - 5:30 pm Trunk or Trick for the Syria Community at the Market
5: 30 On - Bluegrass Trio at the Main Lodge

5:00pm-6:00pm - Dinner Provided for all Participants

6:00 pm - 10 pm - Horror Night at the
Haunted Packing Shed - opposite the Market
Created and manned by the Syria Community - led by the Hurt Family - $10 pp extra

6:30 pm- Costume Contest
(Prizes to the youngest, scariest, creative horse/rider)
7:00 pm and on to 2 am - Bluegrass Jam in the Back Camp Field

Silent Auction
7:30pm- 50/50 raffle drawing
Silent auction closes.

7:45pm-10:00pm- Karaoke & DJ

Sunday
Big Breakfast Buffet (added charges) up at the Main Lodge
Animals Show and Tell in the Farm-yard - 9:30 AM
Ride Out on Own

11 AM - 2 PM Big Brunch with Graves Mountain Fried Chicken
Pack up gently or stay more days at regular rate of $12 per night per two legged plus $10 per horse

Bring your own horse.
The stables do not have horses to provide for this event.
Please bring your current negative Coggins for our files.
