Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges is an 1100 acre farm and hotel with camping next to Shenandoah National Park in Rose River Valley cradled by two mountains and watered by two mountain fishing streams.
The streams flow right out of the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Park, just above us. Our accommodations, hotel and cabins have trails, fishing, horse-back riding, road biking, dining, music, nature walks, fire-pits with s'mores, and fly-fishing clinics.
The Farm has 55 hotel lodge rooms, and 16 cabins- next Shenandoah National Park on the VA Blue Ridge, 10 miles from Madison VA.

Shenandoah National Park Trails
"Old Rag" and White Oak Canyon trails are a 7 mile drive up our back hollow road, while we have some 18 miles of trails on our mountains and farm with direct access to the National Park and its hundred plus miles of trails.
Telephones and Cell Phone
Please note that we do not have telephones in our accommodations. But your cell phone will work when switched to Internet Calling and, of course, we take messages for you.

High speed fiber optic available available in Main Lodge, the Lodges, most cabins, the front area of the Campground, the Market Deli and Tackle, and the Pool.
Cell Phones
Although we have no cell connections for most of the valley, in the our have fiber optic bandwidth enables Cell to Internet and Internet to Cell calling. This is usually easy to set up and may be automatic for your phone.
TVs
We will have TVs in all cabins and Lodge Rooms by Mar 31, 2021. Before then they are in some Lodge Rooms (ask please), most cabins, and of course the Main Lodge.

- Late Checkout: Please ask if we may be able to accommodate this for you, however an extra day's charge will be added if accommodations are not vacated on time.
- Deposit Required: Typically a one night deposit is collected on your booking. It is refundable with 72 hour notice. or of course Covid needs.
- Two night minimum: During Holidays, Special Events, and Weekends during high season
- Cabins frequently have a two day minimum associated with them and also have a cleaning fee added to the total bill.

This quaint house was built in 1852 and is two and half miles from the Main Lodge.
Offering a large front porch and a deck off the back with a lovely mountain view. It has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker.

Living room with a fireplace. The first floor walls and fireplace are of native stone, while the second story is log. The cottage has two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with balcony and fireplace. The second has two double beds.

Overlooking the Robinson River, this former one-room school house is located two and half miles from the Main Lodge. Its multi-purpose room functions as a living, dining and sleeping space with a set of bunk beds. Two additional sleeping spaces (one with a double and one with a set of bunk beds), kitchen and a full bath makes this cottage a great place to relax and unwind on the wrap-around deck.

Located three and a half miles west of the Main Lodge on a secluded mountain road and truly our most rustic accommodation, this three-bedroom log cabin was designed to sleep many.
Right next to Rose River - high up where few people fish.
Rustic and close to nature.
Featuring a large stone fireplace, the multi-purpose room functions as a living, dining and sleeping space (one queen & two sets of bunk beds).
There is an eat-in kitchen with an electric stove, full size refrigerator and microwave oven. Two full baths and a separate vanity/dressing area are located off of the kitchen.
On the second floor, the first bedroom has a double and a twin bed, the second bedroom has a double and a set of bunk beds and the third bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a single bed & and one double in the loft area.
The outdoor fire pit and stone porch help make this an ideal gathering place for family and friends.

Lower Cabin sits in a wooded area just above the Rose River. Lower Cabin-
Built in 1929, is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking the "old" swimming hole, has a full eat-in kitchen, two shower baths and a separate vanity/dressing area, a stone fireplace and a multi-purpose room functioning as a living, dining and sleeping space (two double and two twin beds).
On the second floor, the first bedroom has a double and a twin bed, the second bedroom has a double and a set of bunk beds and the third bedroom has a set of bunk beds, two twins and one twin in the loft area. The Lower Cabin is located 150 yards from the Main Lodge.

Located a half mile from the Main Lodge and renovated in 2003, the Kite House is great for family reunions, weddings, and corporate meetings.
Right next to Rose River mountain stream, set in a large meadow with Poplar Lodge above.
Downstairs the Kite House has a large living room, a kitchen, one full bath, two half baths, and a bedroom with one queen. Four bedrooms are located upstairs, two with one queen each, one with a queen and a twin, one with a day bed and a twin bed. Two full baths are upstairs.
