Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges, is an 1100 acre farm, in Rose River Valley cradled by two mountains and watered by two mountain fishing streams. The farm has 55 hotel lodge rooms, and 16 cabins- next Shenandoah National Park on the VA Blue Ridge, 10 miles from Madison VA,
“Old Rag” and Whiteoak canyon trails are a 7 mile drive, while we have some 15 miles of trails on our mountains and farm with direct access to the National Park and its hundred of miles of trails.

These are traditional style lodge rooms in one of our serene hilltop units. Each of our rooms feature two queen beds and full bath.
These rooms also offer a panoramic view of the blue ridge valley below. All rooms in the Hilltop Lodge come with satellite television and wireless broadband connections. A
ll rooms have high speed wireless broadband that will allow for cell to Internet and Internet to cell calling.
You will feel quite at home in the quaint interior and can enjoy comfortable cabin in an authentic and rustic atmosphere. Six rooms are offered, each with its own outside entrance, for individual and group rental. All rooms feature a half bath. All rooms have air-conditioning and electric heat. There is a covered portico to the shared shower house.

Room 4 – Has a Fireplace, half bath, a queen bed. Has private porch on the front. Adjoins Room 3

Room – the Itty Bitty Cottage – Handicapped Accessible – Has a front porch, queen bed and a full bath.
Nestled in the trees near the Main Lodge, these identical side by side cottages offer a living area with sofa and fireplace, small refrigerator and two bedrooms. One with a queen bed, the other with a double and a bunk bed. A full shower bath in each cottage. These cottages are well suited for a family reunion.

This early 1800’s cottage offers two bedrooms downstairs each with a queen bed, a living room with fireplace, sofa, small refrigerator and two bathrooms. Upstairs you find one bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds. A deck wraps around the cottage.
This quaint house was built in 1852 and is two and half miles from the Main Lodge. Offering a large front porch and a deck off the back with a lovely mountain view. It has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, one and a half baths, TV/VCR, and living area with a fireplace. The first floor walls and fireplace are of native stone, while the second story is log. The cottage has two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with balcony and fireplace. The second has two double beds.

Located just across the road from the Main Lodge, this cottage offers three bedrooms and two full baths, a living area with fireplace, full eat in kitchen and satellite TV. The master bedroom offers one queen with full bath. The two bedrooms upstairs provide one with two queen beds, the other one queen and one single.
Located two miles from the Main Lodge, this cozy two story log cabin sits just off the Rose River. It offers a living/dining room with stone fireplace, two twin beds, one and a half baths and full kitchen. Upstairs provides two bedrooms. One has a queen and the other two queen beds. Two porches, one front and one back.
Enjoy a view of the valley from the spacious great room. This cottage has all the amenities for a special getaway including satellite TV, fireplace, small kitchen, dining area, full bath and two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two twins.
This country farmhouse offers downstairs a living room with wood stove, large eat-in kitchen, two full baths, one bedroom with two double beds. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, each with a double bed and two twin beds. Peon Palace is located 300 yards from the Main Lodge.
Overlooking the Robinson River, this former one-room school house is located two and half miles from the Main Lodge. Its multi-purpose room functions as a living, dining and sleeping space with a set of bunk beds. Two additional sleeping spaces (one with a double and one with a set of bunk beds), kitchen and a full bath makes this cottage a great place to relax and unwind on the wrap-around deck.
Located three and a half miles west of the Main Lodge on a secluded mountain road and truly our most rustic accommodation, this three-bedroom log cabin was designed to sleep many. Featuring a large stone fireplace, the multi-purpose room functions as a living, dining and sleeping space (one queen & two sets of bunk beds). Also, there is an eat-in kitchen with an electric stove, full size refrigerator and microwave oven. Two full baths and a separate vanity/dressing area are located off of the kitchen. On the second floor, the first bedroom has a double and a twin bed, the second bedroom has a double and a set of bunk beds and the third bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a single bed & and one double in the loft area. The outdoor fire pit and stone porch help make this an ideal gathering place for family and friends.

The Lower Cabin sits in a wooded area just above the Rose River. Lower Cabin- Built in 1929, is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking the “old” swimming hole, has a full eat-in kitchen, two shower baths and a separate vanity/dressing area, a stone fireplace and a multi-purpose room functioning as a living, dining and sleeping space (two double and two twin beds). On the second floor, the first bedroom has a double and a twin bed, the second bedroom has a double and a set of bunk beds and the third bedroom has a set of bunk beds, two twins and one twin in the loft area. The Lower Cabin is located 150 yards from the Main Lodge.

Located a half mile from the Main Lodge and renovated in 2003, the Kite House is great for family reunions, weddings, and corporate meetings. Downstairs the Kite House has a large living room, a kitchen, one full bath, two half baths, and a bedroom with one queen. Four bedrooms are located upstairs, two with one queen each, one with a queen and a twin, one with a day bed and a twin bed. Two full baths are upstairs. Large deck in the back and a front porch with a view of the Rose River. Satellite TV and wireless broadband are included.
Suite 1 – Ground Level . Two bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with two queen beds. Handicap shower, living room / full kitchen, satellite TV, outside shaded patio. Cleaning Fee $85.00.
Suite 2 – Middle Floor. Four bedrooms, two bedrooms with two queen beds, and two bedrooms with one queen bed. Two full baths, 1/2 bath, living room, full kitchen. satellite TV, covered deck on front. Cleaning Fee $150.00.
Suite 3 – Top Floor – Two bedrooms, one queen bed in each, full bath, living room, full kitchen. Satellite TV. Cleaning Fee $85.00.
The Poplar Lodge is located 1/2 mile from Main Lodge. This two story log motel has a wrap around porch on each level. Common library room & meeting rooms. 16 lodge rooms, each opening to wrap around porch, two twin beds or one king bed and full bath. Free wireless broadband.
A large suite with king bed, kitchenette, and full bath located on top floor of Poplar Motel. Free wireless broadband.

Cell Phones: Although we have no cell connections for most of the valley, in the Main Lodge, Ridgecrest and Hilltop lodges do have fiber optic bandwidth that enables Cell to Internet and Internet to Cell calling. This is usually easy to set up
Messages will gladly be taken at the front desk and courtesy phones are available at the Main Lodge, Ridgecrest, Hilltop & Poplar Lodges.
